Wirreanda Nursery is a provider of a varied range of exotic plants to customers. Some of these include Grevilleas, coastal plants, native plants, Grafted Eucalyptus, Sunrise and Cherry Surprise and Grass Tree species. The nursery is situated at Wirreanda Road North, Ingleside, New South Wales.
Lilly Pillys provided by Wirreanda Nursery are versatile plants, which can be used for hedging and screening purposes. Even in pots, a number of Lilly Pillys can be grown successfully. These plants grow well in organic matter containing well drained soils. Moisture and nutrient is retained by the organic matter. Water logging leads to the death of the plant.
A majority of Lilly Pillys are capable of growing in total sunny to partly shady areas. New growth is encouraged by trimming these plants. A dense and lush plant is rendered by trimming. Using a general purpose fertiliser, such as Blood & Bone, Lilly Pillys can be fertilised in autumn and spring. These pants should be watered well during hot climatic conditions. Lilly Pillys from Wirreanda Nursery show resistance to diseases and pests. Psyllid and Scale are the two common pests that attack these plants. The ultimate size of the plant is determined by the depth and soil conditions.
